This just shows that just because you have a disease, it doesn't mean you can't do anything. I kept crying the entire time. My eyes are probably read and swollen by now. LOL

Emily Austin > 1 Litre of Tears I loved how it was based off the girl's diary. So sad and touching. I laughed, cried. It's definitely showed me to appreciate even the little things in life like being able to brush your teeth or enjoy your favorite meal. The simple things we never think about. Whatever happened to the boyfriend Harou? The cast I think was so perfect and did a truly wonderful job with something precious with the story. This is definitely one of my top favorite dramas and I'm glad I watched it and I'm so glad I did.

Mikki Hagino > 1 Litre of Tears I love nonfiction drama.Though this one is special since I'm a pre-med student.I just helped a man with spinocerebellar ataxia on a street. Indeed their brain functions as much as they learned. Just the physical part is dysfunctional. It is my dream to be a neurobiologist since brain surgeon cannot never be able to fix this disease in our time. However, it is possible to stop the progress of genetic disease with finding of genes that would inhibit the production of diseased RNA. For now, building new nerves by rehabilitation is the only way to slow the progress of disease. I am sorry for those who got diagnosed, but write a book. Tell others that you have ability to gain knowledge, you have the five senses like everyone else. I wished I was not rejected to go American public medical schools because I am Japanese. But I won't give up my dream.
