TVXQ is Number One on HMV Japan

On Japan's largest online music portal and album store, HMV, boy group TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki was ranked number one for having the most sales in 2009 on HMV's website. HMV posted an article on November 20th titled Best of 2009 HMV Online Ranking Japanese Pops. HMV used the sales numbers from January up to November, and TVXQ's 4th album, The Secret Code came in at first place.

The Secret Code was released on March 25th, 2009 and was a hit on the Oricon Charts. About the album, HMV stated, "The album included many hits and quality songs such as Doushite - Why Have I fallen for you?, Beautiful You, and Mirotic. The album showcases the talents of TVXQ. The album also included a special PV of Kiss The Baby Sky, and a DVD."

TVXQ beat out many of J-pop top artists such as Arashi, Unicorn, and Perfume, so this is pretty noteworthy for them.
